360 KB: OnePetro Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- October 2024
What is happening to the database OnePetro?
ProQuest currently has title-level information for the OnePetro from provider OnePetro.org in the Knowledgebase - the provider has decided to delete this database and create a new collection which will be a full text collection. Note: the database will be deleted only after the full text collection, with the same name, will be created.
The database OnePetro from the provider OnePetro.org is no longer being updated. In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from OnePetro database and the database will be hidden in the Knowledgebase on October 31, 2024. No future subscriptions will be possible. (NOTE: The database code for this database is [2WD].)
This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.
Actions you may need to take:
- If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before October 31, 2024:
