360 KB: ProQuest Congressional Record Parts A and B: Titles Will Be Removed -- January 2025
What is happening to parts A & B of ProQuest Congressional Record?
ProQuest currently has title-level information for parts A & B of the ProQuest Congressional Record Permanent Digital Collection in the Knowledgebase. The holdings for these collections do not resolve to publication-level records, so we are removing titles to align with parts C & D of the ProQuest Congressional Record Permanent Digital Collection.
In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from the below databases in the Knowledgebase on January 10, 2025. The databases will become a zero-titles database.
Database Name | DB Code |
---|---|
ProQuest Congressional Record Permanent Digital Collection Part A (Includes Predecessors) (1789-1997) | -X9 |
ProQuest Congressional Record Permanent Digital Collection Part B (1998-2001) | -YJ |
This means that these databases (and their titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for the databases. However, the databases will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.
Actions you may need to take:
- If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before January 10:
