360 KB: Sage Databases: Titles Will Be Removed -- August 2024
What is happening to the Sage Databases?
ProQuest currently has title-level information for the following sage databases from provider sage in the Knowledgebase. The provider has changed this to an index-only databases and there are no full-text included in the databases. However, those databases have an alternative collections:
Current DB ID | Current collection name | New DB ID | New collection name |
---|---|---|---|
JCYGO | SAGE:Bibsam:Premier Read & Publish:2023 | JCYGO | SAGE:Bibsam:Premier Read & Publish:2023 |
ADFPL | SAGE:Bibsam:The Royal Society of Medicine Read & Publish:2023 | ADFPL | SAGE:Bibsam:The Royal Society of Medicine Read & Publish:2023 |
Those databases from the provider Sage are no longer being updated. In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from those databases and the databases will be hidden in the Knowledgebase on August 31, 2024. The databases will become a zero-titles databasse, and no future subscriptions will be possible.
This means that those databases (and their titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.
Actions you may need to take:
- If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before August 31, 2024:
