360 KB: vLex Caribbean Core Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- May 2024

What is happening to the database vLex Caribbean Core?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the vLex Caribbean Core from provider vLex in the Knowledgebase. The collection has broken links and will become a Zero-Title database.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from vLex Caribbean Core database in the Knowledgebase on May 23, 2024. The database will become a zero-titles database. (NOTE: The database code for this database is VDCCX.)

This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before May 23, 2024:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
