360 KB: Bloomsbury Databases from Bloomsbury Publishing Plc: Database Name Change -- June 2022
What is happening to the names of some Bloomsbury databases?
Some Bloomsbury database names need be changed to better match the actual product names.
Therefore, we will be changing the database names in the Knowledgebase. The content of the databases, and the database IDs, will remain the same.
This change will take effect on June 30, 2022:
DB Code | Database Name Before June 30, 2022 | Database Name After June 30, 2022 |
---|---|---|
BYONL | Bloomsbury Drama Online: National Theatre Collection | Bloomsbury Drama Online: National Theatre Collection 1 |
ABFDS | Bloomsbury Popular Music 2020 Collection | Bloomsbury Popular Music 2020 Annual Update |
ADNIG | Bloomsbury Human Kinetic Library - 2021 Update | Bloomsbury Human Kinetics Library - 2021 Update |
AEDSP | Bloomsbury Human Kinetic Physical and Health Education | Bloomsbury Human Kinetics Physical and Health Education |
Actions you may need to take:
- If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the database name as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after June 30, 2022.
- If your library uses a third-party service (such as EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-ProQuest tools that require the database name to function, you should note the change in ProQuest's database name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
