360 KB: Faulkner Advisory for IT Studies (FAITS) Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- March 2024

What is happening to the database Faulkner Advisory for IT Studies (FAITS)?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the Faulkner Advisory for IT Studies (FAITS) from provider Faulkner in the Knowledgebase.  Ex LIBRIS is not getting updates from Faulkner on individual title content within FAITS. This would make the record more accurate for libraries who subscribe to FAITS.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from Faulkner Advisory for IT Studies (FAITS) database in the Knowledgebase on March 24, 2024. The database will become a zero-titles database. (NOTE: The database code for this database is BQG.)

This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before March 24, 2024:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
