360 KB: Literature Online (LION) Legacy Databases: Titles Will Be Removed -- June 2023

What is happening to the Literature Online (LION) Legacy databases?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the Literature Online (LION) Legacy databases from provider ProQuest in the Knowledgebase. ProQuest has already migrated all content and customers to more current versions of these databases, so the Legacy versions are no longer relevant.

The LION Legacy databases are no longer being updated. In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from these databases and the databases will be hidden in the Knowledgebase on June 23, 2023. The databases will become zero-titles databases, and no future subscriptions will be possible. Please see the table below for current Literature Online (LION) options.
