    1. What is happening to the SPIE databases from the Provider American Institute of Physics?

What is happening to the SPIE databases from the Provider American Institute of Physics?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the SPIE databases from provider American Institute of Physics in the Knowledgebase. SPIE titles are no longer on the American Institute of Physics platform.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from SPIE databases and the databases will be hidden in the Knowledgebase on March 30, 2018. The databases will become zero-titles databases, and no future subscriptions will be possible.

    The affected databases are:

    DB Code Database Name
8SP SPIE Conference Proceedings by volume
    RSJ SPIE Digital Library
    5SK SPIE Digital Library (Books)
    5SJ SPIE Digital Library (Journals)
    SPF SPIE Open Access Publications
    DXC Spie Scitation

SPIE content is available in these databases:

    DB Code Database Name
    FP0 SPIE Digital Library (Books)
    FQ0 SPIE Digital Library (Journals)
FO0 SPIE Conference Proceedings by volume
R.2 SPIE Digital Library (Proceedings Series)

Actions you may need to take:
