Subscribe to Open (S2O) collections are managed in the Knowledgebases as other collections are created and managed since the Knowledgebases track access rights and not the granularity of how these rights are granted.

Adding S2O indication on the whole collection level is useful for subscribing institutions, as these libraries have access to all of the content, no matter whether it is free or paid. Managing the access and the acquisition information can be done in the PO Line, or on the collection description tabs.

For non-subscribing institutions, access is made available by Open Access specific collections for content providers who maintain metadata for such collections.

If there are no Open Access collections for content providers who facilitate S2O collections, the Open Access content can generally be found in CDI.
