August 2022: Refreshing the Web of Science Core Collection Content in CDI

Web of Science core collection content is available to CDI users who are also Web of Science Core Collection subscribers, with over 80 million articles. The high quality of the Web of Science Core Collection content and its frequent updates contribute to CDI data and benefit our end users’ experience by enriching it with relevant results and accurate metadata.

As part of the integration between ProQuest and Clarivate, we have both extended content coverage in CDI for existing collections, as well as added new collections from the Web of Science Core Collection.

Currently, in CDI we index the following:

  • SCIE - Science Citation Index Expanded: From 1900 onwards

  • SSCI - Social Sciences Citation Index: From 1900 onwards

  • AHCI - Arts & Humanities Citation Index: From 1975 onwards

  • ECSI - Emerging Sources Citation Index: From 2005 onwards

  • CPCI-S - Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Science: From 1990 onwards

  • CPCI-SSH - Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Social Science & Humanities: From 1990 onward

  • BKCI-S - Book Citation Index Science: From 2005 onwards

  • BKCI-SSH - Book Citation Index Social Sciences & Humanities: From 2005 onwards

To reflect our updated content offerings from the Web of Science Core Collection and simplify the activation process, we have also refreshed the collection list available for activation in the KBs (SFX, 360, Alma).

We are offering the following collections: (All zero title databases, as Web of Science Core Collection content in A&I)

  • One Database for Web of Science Core Collection content - Web of Science Core Collection (615400000000000378), DBID: BLEPL.
  • One Database for primary Web of Science Core Collection content - Web of Science Primary (SCIE, SSCI & AHCI) (6113929880000041), DBID: EGQ.
  • Databases for each of the above offerings.
  • Yearly Databases for each of the above offerings (Note: ESCI - Emerging Sources Citation Index has two collections: 2005-2021 collection and 2022 collection).
