What is happening with DART-Europe E-theses portal:

The DART-Europe e-theses portal will be closing down on 31 January 2025. A number of factors have led to this decision, principally that the underlying infrastructure is no longer being developed or supported internationally and there is a lack of resource for migration to new infrastructure.

Issue:

We have a collection named: DART-Europe and it is not updated for a ling time, and also there is new request to add this collection to CDI

DBID:JWZ
Internal Name: DART-EUROPE_E-THESES_PORTAL
Public Name: DART-Europe E-theses Portal
Collection ID: 6114047840000041

Conclusion from the provider:

We, Exlibris contacted the provider and explained the request. The provider reviewd the request and informed that the DART-Europe e-theses portal will be closing down on 31 January 2025. A number of factors have led to this decision, principally that the underlying infrastructure is no longer being developed or supported internationally and there is a lack of resource for migration to new infrastructure.

Final Decision:

The collection is going to be removed the Exlibris platforms from  26th January , 2025. No new content for Discovery CDI to be created.
