Why are perpetual access titles missing from De Gruyter eBook and Journal collections in Ex Libris Knowledgebases?

    Answer

The following reflects De Gruyter’s established KBART policy:

    • KBARTs will only list “current” titles and omit the “perpetual access” titles, as these represent De Gruyter's official title lists of what is currently available for sale to new customers.

    • These perpetual access titles are only those that are still available on the De Gruyter Brill platform. Withdrawn titles have been removed from collections which are no longer available on their platform.

To ensure perpetual access titles remain discoverable, they are maintained in dedicated collections:

    • De Gruyter eBooks Complete (Collection ID: 611000000000002268): Contains perpetual access book titles alongside current content.

    • De Gruyter Online (Collection ID: 613780000000001487): Includes eBooks and journals, covering both current and perpetual titles.

    • De Gruyter All-inclusive Journals 2025 (Collection ID: 61637128930000041): Contains perpetual access journal titles alongside current content.
