Wiley Collections in SFX Knowledgebase (February 2023)
Ex Libris is aware of issues with some Wiley collections and whilst we continue to work with Wiley to resolve these issues, we would like to give you some clarity on the timeline for these cases.
Wiley has undergone a change within the team that previously worked with Ex Libris on content. Wiley is in the process of putting together a clearer workflow to address ongoing issues for our mutual customers, bear with us whilst we are all collaborating to improve this process.
Whilst this process is ongoing, we will continue to report issues with Wiley collections in SFX and CDI to Wiley, but we anticipate that there will be a longer lead time to resolution on some cases. We are all working to make the process faster in the future.
Thank you for your patience.
April 2023 update: Wiley has informed us that "for journals originally published in print format only, and/or have had a title change, older versions are merged into the current publication. This leads to duplicate ISSNs or DOIs, and lack of segmentation in the KBART reports. Wiley is aware of the issue. Currently there is no straightforward solution and so we advise libraries not to raise additional tickets."
