    Description:
When oracle is restarted it appears to work (e.g. can connectt to Meditor, etc.).
However I found this in the /exlibris/app/oracle/admin/dtl3/bdump/alert_dtl3.log

    Thu Feb 12 16:10:20 2009
    Starting ORACLE instance (normal)
Cannot determine all dependent dynamic libraries for /proc/self/exe
The open() system call failed for the file /proc/self/exe
    Linux Error: 13: Permission denied

    Should I be concerned?

    Resolution:
Our DBAs have checked this error message with Oracle support, and this is their response:
This is a known but harmless bug in the Oracle software.
Oracle recommends that you ignore this error message.

    Additional Information

Oracle, failed, Linux, error, Permission, denied
