    Question

How can I prevent students from seeing incomplete citations on their reading lists in Leganto?

    Answer

If a citation has not been marked as complete on the reading list you can now hide the citation from students using Leganto. This can come up if an instructor adds a new citation to a reading list after all the other citations and the reading list have been marked complete and have been published to students.

To enable this functionality, you must set the hide_uncompleted_citations parameter to true in the Leganto Features mapping table: Configuration Menu > Leganto > Leganto Features.

If the parameter is set to false Leganto will display incomplete citations (which are citations that have not been marked Complete in Alma), however students will not have the option to download a file if one existed. They will not be able to follow links of the citation if the citation required a copyright.
