    Description:
When performing a search via the Primo "MetaSearch" function (aka remote searching of MetaLib QuickSets), we are seeing limited results that look like they are being filtered. Only books are showing up in the results.
Where is this filter being applied?

    Resolution:
On Primo in Primo Home > Ongoing Configuration Wizards > Views Wizard > Edit HKPU View > Save and Continue > Continue > Continue > Basic Search Edit Tile > Edit Basic Search Attributes the values for Resource type pre-filter drop-down > Media Type, under the “default_tab e-Resources Metasearch” column headings, NOTHING was checked.

    first value = Books
    . . .
    last value = All Items

The last item, "All items", should be checked (unless some other option is desired). In the absence of a selection, the system defaults to a filter on books, the first option in the list.

If you add those checks and radio buttons are selected and then you save, there will be an error message: "Validation Problem: Select at least one "Media type"."

The "All Items" under e-Resources also needs to be checked. That will produce another error message on save: "Validation Problem: Select at least one "Search Field""

If you check the “anywhere in the record” line options in the Search Operaters > Field that save, that should resolve this problem.
