    Description:
I would like to monitor VIR01 to prevent space problems. How can I do this?

    Resolution:
Firstly, as a rule, make sure to clear the temporary library daily as a cron job. This will prevent problems.
You can monitor the temporary library space usage using UTIL-O-14-1. First make sure to dlib to vir01 with the command:
    >>dlib vir01
Then enter the command: util o
select 14 and then select 1.
Pay attention to the free space of TS0 and TS1. You should see an outpul similar to this:
    TABLESPACE_NAME TOTAL_FREE_SPACE MAX_EXTENT NUM_FREE_EXTENTS
    ------------------------------ ---------------- ---------- ----------------
    DRSYS 75.6665649 74.978687 2
    SYSTEM 34.5814962 34.5814962 1
    TOOLS 273.650321 273.650321 1
    TS0 284.1429 874.417832 59
    TS1 96.1778321 71.9770382 12
    UNDOTS 506.403176 485.204031 22
    TEMP 960.527634

If there is less the 100 M free for TS0 or TS1, as you can see above, the tablespace should probably be extended. Contact your local support office.
