Users would like to be able to report on number of searches, search terms and source of API calls.

    status: planned
    priority: high
    subject area: general

    Use Case:

Currently in Primo local, users are able to report on Primo API usage (number of searches, search terms and source of API calls) by extracting this information from the Primo server log files – localhost_access_log.

Update from Ex Libris 06 Jan 2020 - on the roadmap for 2020.

When users move to Primo SaaS they lose access to these log files.

Users would like these Primo API statistics to be included in Primo Analytics so they can continue to report and monitor the trends for searches within Primo.

The API Analytics is not sufficient and does not provide the essential information users are looking for, i.e. search terms.

All this information, usage of FE and API, should be part of the Primo Analytics so that they can be aggregated and analyzed.

Is there a use case for Alma, too?
