What is happening with Scientific American content in CDI?

Ex Libris has been working with the SpringerNature/Scientific American team for a number of years to ingest all their article-level records into CDI and to include the most recent content.

Scientific American changed their record format in the course of the project and rebuilt their entire technology stack which was a prolonged process.

They have now successfully launched the revamped platform.  ExLibris is working with Scientific American to obtain a full feed for CDI including article level links and establish ongoing updates but do not yet have a timeline for when the project will be completed.

Update: This work was completed the end of September 2024.
