    Description

Primo displays "Is part of" in the third line of the Brief Results, even when the display/ispartof field is not defined to display. This is because the "Is part of" information that is displayed is hardcoded for the Brief Results; Primo will always display this information if a record has information stored in its display/ispartof field.

    Resolution

If you do not want Primo to display "Is part of " in the Brief Results, you can disable the rules for the display/ispartof field in the normalization rules so that information in the source record is not mapped to the 'display/ispart' field.

Disabling the rules for 'display/ispartof' field in the normalization rules will also remove this field from the "Details" section in the record's Full Display.

Once you have disabled all of the rules, make sure to Deploy the changes made to the normalization Rules (Deploy & Utilities > Deploy All > Normalization Rules > Deploy).  Then, run a renorm (No Harvesting - Update DS) pipe.

    Additional Information

Customers who would like to still display the "Is part of" in the Details section, can use a local display field to copy the existing normalization rules for display/ispartof field to a local display field (lds). You can then add this lds field to the Details section only. For more information on adding local fields, please see the article below:

How to create a new local display field (lds) to appear in the Details tab
