    Question

In Primo Normalization Rules for display:type field which is the correct notation for leader field, LDR in capital letters or ldr in small letters?

    Answer

There are two fields in Aleph MARC source data that can be used in Primo for LDR/ldr. In source data of a record there is field <leader> and also the field <controlfield tag="LDR">.

    Example data:
    <leader>     cam a22003377ar4500</leader>
    <controlfield tag="FMT">BK</controlfield>
    <controlfield tag="LDR">     cam a22003377ar4500</controlfield>

The capital letters for LDR means that <controlfield tag="LDR"> is used . If you have small letters in ldr the field <leader> is used.
