    Description:
I am familiar with the following monitoring tools in Primo:

    1. Dashboard in the back office
    2. Watchdog

Are there any other monitoring tools that serve the customers?

What exactly is monitored by watchdog? What cases are covered, and what is not covered? For example, I noticed that watchdog does not 'notice' SE server failures.

    Resolution:
    Other monitoring tools:

    1) Pipe Monitoring
    2) Process Monitoring
    3) Job Monitoring
    4) SE Monitoring
    5) Activity History Monitor

Watchdog monitors the status of components (FE,BE,DB,PDS) – whether they are up or down.
Watchdog refers to FE,BE,DB,PDS, and not to SE.

This issue is still open and was escalated to Second line support for further analysis <2009-06-21 01:00:03>.
