    Records in Scope not found in Webservices query

    Problem Symptoms:
    ?€¢ Webservices call for records in MYSCOPE are not found:
    http://primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/PrimoWebServices/xservice/search/brief?institution=MYINSTITUTION&indx=1&query=scope,contains,MYSCOPE

    ?€¢ Records with scope MYSCOPE do not also have scope MYINSTITUTION

    Cause:
    Primo webservices queries only search for records with the institutional scope of the institution specified in the webservices call.

    Resolution:
    There are two ways to make sure the missing records are found by the webservice call:

    A) Change the normalization rules to add the institution scope MYINSTITUTION to the records without it to include them in the webservices query

    OR

    B) Choose a different institution parameter for the webservices call that is already present as an institutional scope in the records being searched.
