Restricted Delivery Scope does not restrict delivery of material

    • Article Type: Q&A
    • Product: Primo
    • Product Version: 4
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct; Direct; Local; Total Care

    Question

Why do materials that are marked as Restricted for Delivery not block users from getting access to the item(s)?

    Answer

The Define Restrictions for Delivery Scope allows you to define which users have access to records with a restricted delivery scope.

If use is restricted, Primo will display the Online access is restricted status for the record, however, Primo is not a delivery system so it does not actually restrict access.

For more information, see the Delivery Functionality and Configuration of chapter 1 of the Primo Back Office Guide.
