Search Box Focus is not working on iPad and mobile devices (Primo VE)

Question  

 

In the July 2020 Primo VE release, a new feature that sets focus on Search Box.

Snippet from the Release Notes:

 this enhancement allows you to place the focus in the search box by default when various pages (such as Library Search and Journal Search) are opened in Primo VE. This allows users to type their queries directly into the search box without having to select the search box first. This is already the case for the classic UI.

Is this available on iPads and mobile devices as well?

Answer  

No. We disabled this in mobiles and iPad to avoid the keyboard popping out when the focus is placed in the search box.
