    • Product: Primo

    Question

    Should Primo be proxied?

    Answer

No. Primo uses its own authentication system and therefore authenticates any arriving user (off campus as well as on campus).

In EZproxy for example, you can un-proxy Primo by adding your Primo baseURL to the Neverproxy section in your EZproxy configuration.

    Additional Information

Proxying Primo can also cause authentication issues when using SAML: Logging in to SAML from the new Primo authentication method results in a broken CSS and an error message
