    V4 upgrade Step 5 (Customization / Copy Files from V3 to V4) fails

    Problem Symptoms:

    ?· ? during copy the console screen shows errors (These errors do not appear in log) such as:
    cp: cannot access /exlibris/primo/p4_1/primoe/apache/htdocs/pds.css
    cp: cannot access /exlibris/primo/p4_1/primoe/apache/htdo

    Cause:
    ----------
    During step 4 "Extract V4 software" created Symbolic (soft) links in /exlibris/primo/p4_1/primoe/apache/htdocs with reference to p4_2 instead of p4_1. since p4_2 does not exist step 5 (copy from V3 to V4) failed.

    Resolution:
    1. Log on to p4_1
    2. ? Delete all Symbolic Links to p4_2 from /exlibris/primo/p4_1/primoe/apache/htdocs
    3. Run /exlibris/primo/p4_1/primom/proc/create_htdocs_links (you may need to run using perl in SunOS)
