    What is the Metadata Format of a Local Resource Type?

    Answer

    • The Metadata Format is used in the OpenURL.
    • In the current OpenURL registry, there are 4 Metadata Format values: Book, Dissertation, Journal, and Patent.
    • When creating a Local Resource Type, choose one of the 4 available Metadata Formats from the drop-down menu.
