    Question

What might be the reason that when clicking on a Pipe execute button which is active (not grayed out) but the Pipe don't start?

    Answer

In case a previous run of this pipe was stopped for some reason, but wasn't terminated the pipe can't be started.

You can go to the Pipe > History and see if there is such a run, if so click on the run link and terminate the pipe.

You would now be able to execute the pipe
