    Question

Which $$ subfields can be used with display fields?

    Answer

Primo doesn’t have any true general subfields - they are delimiters.

In specific fields there is a use for specific subfields:
Subfields_in_the_PNX $$C (prefix) can be used for identifier, relation, and description.

The Technical guide describes per field which subfields are allowed - if not mentioned they are not allowed.
