How can I set up standing orders through Rialto?

Submit a case with Rialto Technical Support and include a complete list of current titles you wish to create a standing order for. This should include the following when applicable: Title, ISSN/ISBN, Publisher, MMS ID, Receiving Frequency, and Latest Edition received. If desired, also let us know the PO, Loan Type, Fund, and/or Location Code to be assigned to the invoices.

Benefits of Standing Orders Through Rialto:

    • Offers of existing standing orders, when viewed in Market, will be pinned with the "In ProQuest Plan" badge, indicating that the title is already on a plan for purchase.

    • Transitioning standing orders to Rialto/Alma helps to consolidate purchasing workflows further.

    • Allows ProQuest to assign a static PO, Loan Type, Fund, and/or Location Code to standing order invoices.

    Please note the following:

Some orders may take slightly longer to setup, especially if their frequency is bi-monthly or quarterly.

Previous standing orders may need to be cancelled, to avoid order duplication.

You will need to create the required purchase order lines and invoices in Alma, as per institutional preferences, and associate them with the Rialto vendor. For more information, please click here.
