    Rialto Standing Orders

    • Product: Rialto

Rialto can support Standing Orders, as follows:
    Step 1

Contact the Rialto Support team here, to discuss the move of your Standing Orders, at any point post-implementation.

    Step 2

Once we set the necessary parameters in our system, we will require a complete list of current titles, including the Title, ISSN/ISBN, Publisher, MMS ID, Receiving Frequency. and Latest Edition received. Please know that some orders may take slightly longer to setup, especially if their frequency is bi-monthly or quarterly.

    Step 3

We will send you a confirmation that the setup is complete.

    Step 4

The previous standing orders will need to be cancelled, to avoid order duplication.

    Step 5

Rialto customer will be able to search the Marketplace for the selected titles. They will display the "In ProQuest Plan" badge.

    Step 6

The library will create the required purchase orders, as per institutional preferences, and associate them with the Rialto vendor. The Standing order management process in Alma is entirely manual. The Purchase Order Lines will not automatically be created via Rialto.

    Step 7

The orders will be fulfilled and you will receive an invoice.

Please note that the invoice will be sent to you as a PDF file, not via EDI (FTP server).
