What inbound/outbound/bidirectional ports need to be opened for Rosetta?

Answer

The following ports need to be opened for Rosetta:

Port 21 FTP [inbond]
Port 22 SSH [inbound]: ExL access / Support
Port 25 [outbound]: email
Port 80 HTTP [inbound]
1521 Oracle DB [bidirectional]: All application servers
8983 Solar [bidirectional]: All application servers  (can be replaced by another port in the general parameters)
[1-9]801 (e.g. 1801,2801,3801…) [bidirectional]: All application servers
5001 [bidirectional]: All application servers

Only if PDS is required: 8991 PDS [bidirectional]: All application servers
