Explains how to locate and change the Oracle passwords defined for Rosetta.

Goal

After completing this how-to you will know how to locate and change the Oracle passwords defined for Rosetta.

First Step

Oracle database related usernames are defined in /exlibris/dps/d4_1/system.dir/conf/global.properties.

 

For example, the dbconnection user name is "dbconnection.shr.username=V2AB_shr00>

Second Step

Once you change the Oracle the dbconnection user name do the following to change it also for the Application:


il-dtldev08b-d4(1) >>put_ora_passwd
usage: put_ora_passwd <username> <password>

 

Once the change is completed, you can test it with the get_ora_passwd command:


il-dtldev08b-d4(1) >>get_ora_passwd a2b2ex_ros00
