Operating System/Platform for SFX
Refer first to Operating System Requirements for Red Hat Enterprise Linux for basic and detailed requirements and then refer to the additional specific SFX requirements below.
SFX supports Red Hat Enterprise Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9 or later, as well as Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 based on Intel or AMD 64-bit processors.
For the exact server specifications, including the required number of CPUs and required RAM as a function of the number of concurrent users, contact your Ex Libris representative.
File System and Disk Space
The table below lists the minimal disk space requirements (excluding the operating system) for running and maintaining SFX software and data.

A file system named /exlibris, which contains the required disk space, should be created. This file system must be used exclusively for SFX software and data.
