Description:
We are ready to move our test instance environment into the production instance. What files need to be copied?

Resolution:
The procedure we recommend for copying databases from test to production or vice versa can be run via the server_admin_util tool. It is described in the SFX SysAdmin Guide: section 4.5.6 Copy database to a different instance.

You can also copy certain Unix files from one instance to another using server_admin_util's Filesystem Maintenance feature. This is described in the SFX SysAdmin Guide: section 4.3.2 Additional programs/ Copy files from one instance to another.
