    • Article Type: General
    • Product: SFX
    • Product Version: 3

    Description:
How is the SFX button changed in the AZ List? Where is the image located on the server?

    Resolution:
The location of the SFX button on the server is: /exlibris/sfx_ver/sfx_version_3/<instance_name>/templates/img/azlist_ver3/sfx.gif
    for example, /exlibris/sfx_ver/sfx_version_3/sfxlcl3/templates/img/azlist_ver3/sfx.gif

The SFX button can be accessed via this URL: http://<sfx_server_name>:port/<sfx_instance>/img/azlist_ver3/sfx.gif
    for example, http://mylibrary:3210/sfxlcl3/img/azlist_ver3/sfx.gif

Please note, that buttons have 2 parameters (size and location) associated with them that are vendor specific.
The SFX button has no size restrictions.
However, some vendors keep the button.gif on their web site, some have specific size requirements, and some look for the button within SFX.
If you decide to change the button, you will have to comply with each vendor’s requirements.

You may need to change the gif file for the citation linker at the same time.
    It's located at: /exlibris/sfx_ver/sfx_version_3/<instance_name>/templates/img/citation/sfx.gif
    for example, /exlibris/sfx_ver/sfx_version_3/sfxlcl3/templates/img/citation/sfx.gif

The SFX button can be accessed via this URL: http://<sfx_server_name>:port/<sfx_instance>/img/citation/sfx.gif
    for example, http://mylibrary:3210/sfxlcl3/img/citation/sfx.gif
