[This article was copied from the Voyager Wiki.]

A Spell Checker for WebVoyage 7 with Tomcat using the Open Source Java Spell Checker "Jazzy" is now available.

To see examples of the spell checker in action, visit
    Tarrant County College at
    http://library.tccd.edu/vwebv/searchBasic
    or
    Swansea University at
http://voyager.swan.ac.uk/vwebv/searchBasic and misspell a few search terms.

Everything needed to get the spell checker running on your WebVoyage 7 system is available at https://library.tccd.edu/code

Also included are instructions and tools on how to create your own dictionaries (based on author or subject dumps, for example.)

Thanks to Andrew Brown at Swansea University for testing my instructions, testing the spellchecker, and making suggestions!

    Kind Regards,
    Jim Robinson
