    Voyager to Alma Migration Query: Identify Duplicate Course Numbers

    Created By: Laura Guy (contact)
    Created on: 10/12/2020

    When migrating from Voyager to Alma, you may need to identify and resolve any duplicate (non-unique) Course Numbers. See the Voyager To Alma Migration Guide for additional help on how non-unique Course Numbers are migrated.

    This query, which you can run using Voyager Prepackaged Access Reports, can help you identify duplicate Course Numbers.

    SELECT COURSE.COURSE_NUMBER, Count(COURSE.COURSE_ID) AS CountOfCOURSE_ID
    FROM COURSE
    WHERE (((COURSE.COURSE_NUMBER) Is Not Null))
    GROUP BY COURSE.COURSE_NUMBER
    HAVING (((Count(COURSE.COURSE_ID))>1));

    For other queries that may be useful, see my "Surviving Almanado: tips for a successful pre-implementation" presentation's Accompanying Materials.

    If you need assistance in running custom SQL queries in Prepackaged Access Reports, consult the Voyager Customer Listserv.
