Voyager to Alma Migration Query: Item Records with Data in the CHRON field
When migrating from Voyager to Alma, it may be helpful to identify those item records that have data in the CHRON field (i.e., MFHD.ITEM.CHRON is not null).
This query will help you to do that.
The following can be run in Voyager Prepackaged Access Reports. Note that it can take a while to run. It provides information taken from the item record and the MFHD.
You can also alter it to identify item records that have data in the ENUM field by editing the criteria.
SELECT ITEM.ITEM_ID, ITEM.SPINE_LABEL, MFHD_MASTER.MFHD_ID, LOCATION.LOCATION_NAME, MFHD_MASTER.NORMALIZED_CALL_NO, MFHD_MASTER.DISPLAY_CALL_NO, MFHD_ITEM.ITEM_ENUM, MFHD_ITEM.CHRON, MFHD_ITEM.Year, MFHD_ITEM.CAPTION, MFHD_ITEM.FREETEXT, ITEM.COPY_NUMBER, ITEM_BARCODE.ITEM_BARCODE, ITEM.PIECES, ITEM_NOTE.ITEM_NOTE
FROM ((LOCATION INNER JOIN MFHD_MASTER ON LOCATION.LOCATION_ID = MFHD_MASTER.LOCATION_ID) INNER JOIN ((ITEM INNER JOIN MFHD_ITEM ON ITEM.ITEM_ID = MFHD_ITEM.ITEM_ID) LEFT JOIN ITEM_BARCODE ON ITEM.ITEM_ID = ITEM_BARCODE.ITEM_ID) ON MFHD_MASTER.MFHD_ID = MFHD_ITEM.MFHD_ID) LEFT JOIN ITEM_NOTE ON ITEM.ITEM_ID = ITEM_NOTE.ITEM_ID
WHERE (((MFHD_ITEM.CHRON) Is Not Null))
ORDER BY LOCATION.LOCATION_NAME, MFHD_MASTER.NORMALIZED_CALL_NO;
