    Question

    Can MARC fields be excluded from the GKEY search results in the OPAC?

    Answer

    The GKEY (General Keyword) index cannot be altered to exclude any MARC field in the database.

    Additional Information

    Alternate keyword indexes can be created in System Administration excluding fields whose results are not desired.
