    Question

Which directory on the server does Apache access when using the autoupdate stanza in the Voyager.ini file?

    Answer

On the Voyager server, the file:

    /m1/shared/apache2/conf/ActivatedVirtualHosts/clients.conf

points to a directory, usually /m1/voyager/clients, and specifies the port used for autoupdate.

    Additional Information

See also Technical Users' Guide, Chapter 4: Voyager Client Installation and the Voyager.ini file.

With increased security of Windows systems, AutoUpdate has become increasingly problematic to implement and support. In some environments it no longer works.  Support recommends you consider different options/methods for installing new clients.
