How long does it take to run a fiscal period close?

Answer

This is highly dependent on local factors, including but not limited to

• number of Open Orders;
• complexity of fund structure;
• speed of Voyager server;
• size of database;
• other processes on server.

Time may range from just a few minutes for a smaller database with few orders to many hours for a very large database with a much greater number of orders and funds to roll over.

Make note of timing and other details when running FPC to aid planning for future rollovers.
