    Question

    Is there a Voyager index that converts an ISBN-10 when only ISBN-13?

    Answer

    ISB3 index normalizes an ISBN-10 to an ISBN-13. The display heading remains as is, but the normalized heading is ISBN-13.

    Example:
    ISBN=1561635308
    In BIB_INDEX table, this will create a row for ISB3 index with the following values for its headings:
    BIB_INDEX.DISPLAY_HEADING : 1561635308
    BIB_INDEX.NORMAL_HEADING : 9781561635306

    Additional Information
