    ODBC Table Links not Persisting in Access Reports

    • Product: Voyager
    • Product Version: 8.2.0

    Problem Symptoms

    • Table links don't persist after closing Reports.mdb file
    • Need to relink all the tables after every PC reboot


    Incorrect registry entry


    1. Open the Registry by typing regedit in the Start menu
    2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > ODBC> ODBC.INI > VGER
    3. Right click on the SERVER string value and click Modify...
    4. Change the Value Data from your hostname or IP address to VGER
    5. Close the Registry
    6. Open Access & relink the tables
