    1. Additional Information
    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Voyager
    • Product Version: 8.2.0

    Problem Symptoms:
Text Length variable (LN=) in SEARCHPARM.INDEXRULES is not included in updates to 8.2.0 indexes for 3 left-anchored indexes (8000, 8110, 8300)

    Cause:
This behavior is the result of Issue 16384-21442.

    Resolution:
Issue 16384-21442 is currently in Development.

    Additional Information

Does not appear to impact searching on any of the three affected indexes ?€“ index works fine without the parameter. Workaround: Transfer LN= parameter to new index rules in SEARCHPARM_resolved.xls prior to upgrade.
