    Problem Symptoms

    • Searching via quick search box on homepage results in WebVoyage system Error
    • Searches from Basic Search tab and Advanced Search tab of the OPAC work fine

    Cause

    Incorrect default skin set in web.xml file

    Resolution

    1. On server, navigate to /m1/voyager/xxxdb/tomcat/vwebv/context/vwebv/WEB-INF/web.xml
    2. Edit DefaultSkin parameter to reflect name of default skin:
    <param-name>DefaultSkin</param-name>
    <param-value>en_US</param-value>
    1. Save file
    2. Restart Tomcat
