    Question

Why can't I limit browse searches?

    Answer

You cannot limit using a search that is set to Browse because it places you into a browsable index where you can go up and down search results (as if you were searching in a card catalog).

    Additional Information

You can limit by the following indexes:
    • Keyword (e.g. GKEY: Keyword Anywhere, TKEY: Title Keyword, JKEY: Journal Keyword)
    • Left-Anchored (e.g. TALL: Title Left-Anchored, JALL: Journal Left-Anchored, SALL: Subjects, ISBL: ISBN)
    • Call Number, only if call # search is set to Find
