    360 KB: 3 EBSCOhost Reference Center Databases: Titles Will Be Removed -- Oct. 2016

    What is happening to the databases Nursing Reference Center, Nursing Reference Center Plus, and Rehabilitation Reference Center from the provider EBSCOhost?

    ProQuest currently has title-level information for the Nursing Reference Center, Nursing Reference Center Plus, and Rehabilitation Reference Center databases from provider EBSCOhost in the Knowledgebase. The provider has informed us that they are unable to post title lists for these three databases.

    The databases Nursing Reference Center, Nursing Reference Center Plus, and Rehabilitation Reference Center from the provider EBSCOhost are no longer being updated. In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from the Nursing Reference Center, Nursing Reference Center Plus, and Rehabilitation Reference databases in the Knowledgebase on 14 October, 2016.  These databases will become zero-title databases. (NOTE: The database codes for these databases are NV6, ADUYD, and 56S.)


    This means that this databases (and their titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.
     

    Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before 14 October:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
