360 KB: Journal of Visualized Experiments Database: Titles Will Not Be Removed -- October 2018

What was going to happen to the database Journal of Visualized Experiments?

ProQuest previously stated that it had incorrect title-level information for the Journal of Visualized Experiments database from provider Journal of Visualized Experiments (DBID 223) in the Knowledgebase. Most of the holdings currently included in the database represent collections rather than full-text journals and were going to be removed, after further analysis we have decided to leave them as is in order to maintain access to that content.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all holdings except for "Journal of Visualized Experiments" (ISSN 1940-087X) will be removed from Journal of Visualized Experiments database in the Knowledgebase on October 17, 2018. Client access to the removed titles can be continued by subscribing to the appropriate JoVE Video Journal zero title database(s) in the KB created to represent the removed holdings (NOTE: The database code for this database is 223)
