    360 KB: MEDES Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- November 2017

    What is happening to the database MEDES?

    ProQuest currently has title-level information for the MEDES database from provider Fundación Lilly in the Knowledgebase. This database is bibliographic and hosts no full-text content.


    In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from the MEDES database in the Knowledgebase on November 27. The database will become a zero-titles database. (NOTE: The database code for this database is: .W8)


    This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.
     

    Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before November 27:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
